voicethread

products seems to be enjoying a renewed thrust recently in terms of substantiating the process that gifted students go through while working with content. if voicethread is new to you, check out the voicethread entry below. a kindergartener is talking about a piece of art they created and then his grandmother who is 8 states away in a different time zone has the opportunity to comment as well. HUGE possibilities. not only does voicethread supply a place to post documents, video, etc. but i also provides a forum for reflection, sharing and discussion.

What a wonderful way to start the conversation with teachers about products. And for those who have children, it can be the catalyst for getting them to buy into encouraging and supporting authentic advanced level products.

jeri – i agree that the tool is powerful twofold, sometimes we might overlook how empowered the students are when they get to share their product, it’s the presentation of work that really can showcase learning, right?
