GT learning at the ER

29 Sep

in an unplanned trip to the ER, hence the name, i was able to witness true differentiation at work and it didn’t take much time.  medical staff was sitting outside the doors to the ER and doing quick inventories of people needing care.  turns out, depending on what you had going on you were placed in a specific area.  while not life threatening, it reminded me of the quick triage teachers perform daily.

That is the truth. The longer you are in the profession the more you come to view it as a practice and how experience is so valuable.

Another commonality between medical professionals and teachers is their flexibility and compassion. It seems both either have it… or not!
