Another terrific keynote this morning, the second in as many days. Perhaps the format suits my learning style or my disposition of anonymity. At any rate I’ve never seen anyone speak about how we teach math with such passion and clarity. I’m sure she costs but I can’t imagine being a math teacher and not being moved and motivated after hearing her. Very, very good stuff. I also stopped to introduce myself to Sally Reis and tell her how much I am enjoying myself. After I introduced myself SHE told ME that she had heard some very good things about me. Wow. Not what I was expecting :). What a great start to a Wednesday.
